CODE OF CONDUCT REMINDER FROM THE BSL
June 17, 2010
Ladies and Gentlemen, I just wanted to post a quick reminder to all players to please respect the youth teams who use the fields before BSL matches.
In particular, please remember the following:
- Please do not warm up on fields that are being used for games or practices before BSL games.
Our permits do not begin until 7:00 pm for evening games, which means that the users before us have the fields until 7:00 pm.
We should not be on the field, for any reason, until 7:00 pm. The same goes for areas close to the sideline.
All of the fields have grass patches within 50 yards that will not disrupt the people using the fields.
So if you want to get a run in, or kick a ball around, please use those areas until the fields have been cleared.
- In general, please try and be aware that there may be young children around you.
This pertains to foul language, changing on the sidelines, smoking and all-around conduct.
Please keep this in mind and conduct yourselves accordingly if you arrive at the park a little bit early for your match.
Thanks in advance for your cooperation and attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Chris Roszell - President, Burlington Soccer League
