Answer: Never

Although Europe has produced several dominant sides in World Cups past, they have never won a World Cup outside their home continent (yet).


Question 2: Which Nation at this year's World Cup has brought the most uncapped players?

Answer: Cameroon

Cameroon has brought a total of 4 players to this World Cup in South Africa who had yet to enter a single match for their country.


Question 3: Which Country employs the most World Cup 2010 players who play outside of their own Nation's Clubs?

Answer: England

A total of 94 Players at this years World Cup, who play outside their national squad, belong to English Clubs. Germany, Italy and Spain follow with 61, 57 and 39 players respectively.


Question 4: What is Canada's role in World Cup 2010?

Answer: The Grass and Assistant Referee Hector Vergara

As in 2006 (and every previous Men's World Cup, save 1986), our Canadian National Soccer team failed to qualify for World Cup 2010. However, the playing surface at these games is from grass seed devised by a Lindsay, Ontario company and much of it was harvested in Manitoba.

Hector Vergara is an Assistant Referee from Winnipeg, Manitoba. He refereed the Match between Italy and Paraguay on June 14, 2010, setting the record for most matches refereed in World Cup History.
