As in 2006 (and every previous Men's World Cup, save 1986), our Canadian National Soccer team failed to qualify for World Cup 2010.

Hector Vergara is an Assistant Referee from Winnipeg, Manitoba.
He refereed the Match between Italy and Paraguay on June 14, 2010, setting the record for most matches refereed in World Cup History.
