MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Meet Your Division Representatives
As this is my first year in the role of President I have been tasked with many big changes in the league and I plan on meeting them head on. I am supported by new faces as well as familiar ones from my years on the Executive Committee. For this season, individuals have been elected to represent each division. You will be expected to be in contact with your corresponding Division Representative throughout the season for any questions or issues.

Elect a Women's Division Representative
As noted, I will be acting as our Interim Representative for the Women's Divisions. We would like to have the membership elect a woman to represent her fellow women at the Executive level. We will be accepting nominations at the upcoming Budget Meeting. If you have any interest or another player from your team has interest please be in attendance at this meeting to put your name forth for the position. For your team to have a vote for this Division Representative your team will need to have paid the deposit. Without a deposit your team is not a member of the BSL and your team will not have a vote.
Your Team Fee
The team fees this season will be set at $5,500. Please make sure you contact your team convenor to pay your share. We have set the date for the Annual Budget Meeting for 10am on March 21st at The Black Bull in the Banquet Room at the back of the restaurant. We will review the budget for the upcoming season and discuss the proposed team fee and the rest of the budget. A copy of the proposed budget for the season will be emailed out to all team convenors prior to the Budget Meeting.
Team Deposits Are Past Due
Several teams have not paid their $500 deposits. All teams MUST pay their deposit by March 14! Any teams that have not paid their deposit by March 14th will not be included in our schedule. You can email transfer the deposit to our CFO, Colin Parker, at payments@burlingtonsoccerleague.ca. If you cannot email transfer your deposit please get in touch with your Division Representative. If you are a convenor and have not made arrangements to pay your deposit by Wednesday, expect a call from your Division Representative.
No Long Weekend Games
As a final note I would like to note that we will NOT be playing games on long weekends this year. This includes the Friday night games and Sunday morning games.
Thank you
I would like to thank everyone for their continued support and involvement with the BSL and I hope you will continue to be committed to our league and our community. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
